SCALP SCALING/FLAKING AND INFLAMMATION – Scalp inflammation and flaking, along with redness, may result from scalp sensitivity or itchiness. Treatment will be necessary to address the flaking.

DRY SENSITISED SCALP – Dry and sensitized scalp refers to a condition where the surface of the scalp appears pink and dry. Clients may describe it as a scalp that feels tight and itchy. DRY SHAMPOO BUILD UP – Excessive usage of dry shampoo can lead to the accumulation of product residue, which can clog the hair follicles and suffocate both the hair and scalp. WHAT CAN I SEE? WHAT AM I LOOKING AT WITH THE NIOSCOPE?
This is a demonstration of a well-maintained scalp, free from any debris or accumulation of oil and dead skin cells, appearing nourished and moisturised without any signs of inflammation. The hair strands are also free from any residue or product build-up. Such a healthy environment provides an ideal base for the growth of strong and vibrant hair.
EXCESS BUILD-UP OF SKIN CELLS –
Accumulation of excess skin cells can impact the health of the scalp and the growth of hair when they are not properly washed away as they shed.
EXCESS OIL ON THE SCALP & SKIN CELLS – An abundance of oil on the scalp and skin cells can signal a thinning of hair, as an oily scalp suggests a decrease in hair density, resulting in less absorption of natural oils.
